Timberfern Tower
Timberfern Tower emerges not merely a symbol of vertical ambition, but a sensory driven architecture designed to reframe how we perceive, move through, and connect within the built environment. This mixed-use development invites users to experience the city not just through function, but through feeling where architecture becomes an interface for the five senses.
From its sculptural base to its elevated plateaus, the tower is choreographed as a multi-sensory ascent, light filtered, sound softened, and movement guided by material, shadow, and air. Along its vertical journey, a curated palette of woods carefully chosen for their tactile warmth, scent, and atmospheric resonance are embedded into select interiors and threshold moments. These timber elements are not announced, but discovered each one revealing a subtle intent to elevate well-being and enhance the emotional texture of space.
The tower’s fluid geometries are shaped by heat and wind, forming sky gardens, shaded enclaves, and open-air walkways that dissolve the boundary between structure and environment. Sightlines open, scents linger, sound is absorbed, and every surface invites interaction, creating a layered rhythm.
Task
To orchestrate a high-rise in Saudi Arabia that reimagines user experience through sensory architecture where light, air, and an ingrained language of wood unfold across levels, with select spaces cloaked in tonal warmth and textures that stir memory, presence, and atmosphere.
